An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Specialist GP with a passion for women's health to combine clinical practice with strategic leadership in one of Ireland's most respected and progressive healthcare organisations.
This is a unique role for a doctor who is passionate about delivering outstanding care, mentoring colleagues and influencing the future direction of women's healthcare services. You will lead a highly committed multidisciplinary team while continuing to provide specialist clinical care in a modern, state-of-the-art Dublin city based environment.
The Role
- Clinical leadership of a dedicated team of doctors and nurses
- Strategic input into service development, quality and policy
- A blend of clinical practice and management responsibilities
- Opportunities to contribute to advocacy, education and media engagement
- Collaboration with key stakeholders across healthcare and government
- Influence on the future development of women's health services in Ireland
We are seeking:
- A Specialist GP with a minimum of four years' post-specialist experience, some of which must have been gained in Ireland
- Full Irish Medical Council Specialist Registration in division of General Practice
- A genuine passion for women's healthcare
- Family Planning Certificate and LARC fitting experience
- Strong leadership, mentoring, analysis and communication skills
- A doctor who values excellence, compassion and patient-centred care
- Additional qualifications in women's health or healthcare management are desirable
- Must be in a position to commence the role in December 2026
The Package
- Full-time position (35 hours)
- Hybrid working model following probation
- 27 days annual leave
